How it works

From first question to visible progress, in six steps.

A girl working through maths at home
  1. Try the free taster

Seven short number questions, no account needed. At the end you see a glimpse of what the full profile notices about how your child approaches a problem.

  2. Sit the full diagnostic

It covers every topic in your child's year group, split into two or three sittings of about fifteen minutes with progress saved between them. A tired child does not show you their real thinking, and we want the real picture.

  3. Receive the profile

A whole-curriculum profile in plain English, strengths first. There is no percentage and no grade – just a clear description of how your child approaches mathematics and what to do next.

  4. Practise with targeted packs

The report says which pack to start with for each topic. Some topics need no pack at all. Packs are PDFs your child completes on paper, away from a screen.

  5. Mark online, with guidance

You enter your child's answers and the platform marks them, explains any slips in plain language and updates your child's profile.

  6. Re-assess and see the progress

Re-run a topic at no extra charge and see the new profile beside the old one.

Why short sittings matter. A proper profile beats a rushed quiz. Fifteen relaxed minutes at a time gives you a truthful picture of how your child thinks, and children finish each sitting with energy to spare.
