Who we are
More Mathematics is part of the More Curricular family of learning products, built and run independently in the United Kingdom.

Where this started
More Mathematics began with watching a child do primary maths. The calculation was fine. The word problems improved after trying the Singapore method, whose bar models taught visualisation beautifully. And yet a deeper gap stayed exactly where it was – the moment a question required deciding what to do, rather than doing what was asked, something went quiet.
The missing piece came from international research into how children learn to use mathematics – not only to calculate, but to read, discuss and explain it. Applied carefully to the English primary curriculum, that thinking became More Mathematics.
What we believe
Every child has a mathematical thinking profile, and knowing it changes what you do next. A score tells you where a child ranks; a profile tells you how they think, and thinking can be developed. We never describe a child as behind, because the point is never the deficit – it is the next step, clearly named.

The More Curricular family
More Curricular creates focused, research-led learning products for parents and schools. Each one starts from the same idea: understand how a child learns, explain it plainly, then give exactly the help that fits.
Alongside More Mathematics, the family includes:
More Handwriting
How your child's handwriting is developing.
More Curricular Study Skills
Online study skills and revision courses for ages seven to 18.
Your child's data
We collect only your child's first name and year group. Data is stored in the United Kingdom and kept entirely separate from every other More Curricular product.
